Biodynamics is a holistic, ecological, and ethical approach to farming, gardening, food, and nutrition. Our two-day Introduction to Biodynamics workshops led by Hamish Mackay and Charlie Arnott, bring together the art and science of agriculture, teaching you how biodynamic preparations contribute to the soil food web. They introduce practical aspects needed to apply biodynamics which include - • The life of the soil • Creating fertility in your soil • Managing your natural resources • Practical use of the biodynamic preparations • Developing risk management: Weeds, Pests, Diseases • Meeting climate change challenges: Drought, Flood, Carbon sequestration Hamish has been working with biodynamics for 45 years and presents biodynamics as a cost effective and enjoyable way to produce high quality food and fibre suitable for human health and well-being; at the same time improving our environment. Charlie is an award winning grazier and educator from Boorowa NSW, who started his Regenerative Farming journey 15 ago, previously managing his 5000 acre family property ‘Hanaminno’ using industrial agricultural practices. He now practices and actively advocates regenerative agriculture, holistic management and Biodynamics practices and principles, values sharing his experiences and knowledge with others, and is a sort after speaker and presenter.
