Description

Stonewall Farm is a non-profit organization providing agricultural education to farmers, homesteaders, schools and the general public on 120 acres of protected land. Stonewall farm is an accredited HUB in the Savory Institute's Global Network. The farm operates a certified organic dairy and grows certified organic crops. The farm conserves 120 acres of pastures, forests and trails that are free and open to the public for recreational use year-round.

Stonewall Farm is not only certified organic but grows in permanent, no-till beds and cover crops is and important practice in keeping our soil healthy.

We have been experimenting with a wide variety of cover crops testing what works and what doesn't and would like to share what we have learned along the way with other farmers and gardeners. Learn the various ways cover crops can improve your soil health, reduce weed pressure, support pollinator populations, and provide soil protection in extreme weather events.
