Description

The Plant, WENR (Wageningen Environmental Research Center), and communication agency De Lynx have worked for a year on a citizen science method to measure four different harvests of a food forest:

  • Sequestration of CO2
  • Biodiversity
  • Soil health/life
  • Economy

The method is both scientifically sound and easy to execute. The Plant developed an online interface that gives people not only ease of use, but also insight in how their food forest is performing compared to comparable forests on the same soil and/or the same age.

The tool will go live on october 29, and that moment will be celebrated with an online webinar in Dutch.

If you want to know more about it and only speak English: we will publish the webinar later and give it subtitles and will work on translating it soon, so bear with us for the time being. Do register, so that we can send you the link to the recorded session.
