Description

Restoration Evidence provides a database of the wealth of evidence for the effectiveness of ecological restoration management actions. It aims to make ecological restoration more effective by providing evidence on which restoration actions work, and which don’t.

The website is divided into different restoration type categories, containing summaries of scientific research on the effects of actions to restore habitats, in order to support decision making. It is also searchable and available in complete.

It currently includes summaries of the evidence for ecological restoration of forests, peatland vegetation, shrublands and heathlands, and farmland, and also restoration actions aimed at enhancing populations of birds, amphibians, bees, bats and primates. Evidence for wetlands and grasslands restoration is coming soon!

Restoration Evidence is a collaboration between the Endangered Landscapes Programme and Conservation Evidence.
